MotoGP Rossi Stoner Battle Le Mans France GP 2012 is the doctor back??
well it was an interesting race this past weekend at the le mans circuit in France, the rain definitely did not make things easier but that did not stop the riders from pushing and going for the win.
One example is valentino rossi, we have all seen the trouble he has had with ducati, but it seems that after some adjustments his last two races have shown significant improvement, sunday race being the greatest.
We know his bike performs better in the rain for some reason, but the 2nd place victory leads us to wonder... is the doctor back??? and is casey stoner retiring just in time???

great cb500t build, check it out!
i love thinking outside of the box, i think the old and modern can happily co-exist and work to compliment each other. i suppose you could say, no im definitely not a purist haha.
here is a build i was introduced to by its builder a while back. we both have the same bike and mixed modern/vintage in our own seperate ways.
and i have to say, he has really done some impressive work and deserves for you to check it out. trust me, you will be glad you did.

"The Repsol" Honda CB500T
the CB500T, back in the day, not your most saught after and desired bike, which is why they were only made 2 years... to me, that just made it extra special.
this bike got many upgrades to turn it into something a bit more desireable.
a vintage interpretation of the team honda/repsol moto gp bike.
this honda has gone through about 3 or 4 stages of "done", and each time it gets a bit better.
specs:
rebuilt motor.
tuned carbs.
solid state rectifier.
solid state regulator.
full electronic ign.
high output coils.
CDI.
vented engine.
custom 2-1 exhaust.
etc....
shortened and rebraced frame.
extra bracing added.
upgraded progressive rate front suspension.
reinforce fork brace.
gsx-r 1000 steering damper.
fully adjustable nitrogen charged piggy back rear shocks.
cross drilled brake rotor.
ugraded custom fit brake/clutch levers.
custom made rear sets.
clip on bars.
mini gauges w/dashboard.
sport fiber glass body work.
repsol inspired paint.
and much more.
most of these things were done when the bike was originally done up, but many as the motorcycle progressed and was refined.
pictures in order of progression. the last of the changes were subtle yet very effective performance wise, including an un-stretched swing arm and brace.
